Decon Training Topics
Hospital Decontamination teams are vital to the safety and security of your facility in the event of a hazardous material release. Participation in the Hospital Preparedness Program requires that your facility have 12 decon setups available and ready at all times. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) also requires that hospitals provide ongoing training (Awareness & Operations) to personnel who are expected to decontaminate or interact with contaminated victims.
